We use regular check-ups to ensure that your teeth and gums stay in a healthy condition. During this appointment we will check for any indications of gum disease, tooth decay, cracks or tooth wear as well as looking out for signs of mouth cancer and checking your bite and jaw for any problems. We like to discuss and give our patients advice how to maintain good dental healthy through oral hygiene and diet.
You will also be able to discuss with your dentist any concerns you have and receive information on treatment options available.
At Dundee Dental Care we believe that good dental hygiene and gum health are the key to a perfect smile. Our dental hygienist will work with you to provide a personalised oral hygiene plan – giving advice on frequency and techniques of brushing, best brushes and interdental cleaning methods as well as diet changes to maintain excellent dental health and keep you smiling with confidence.
Our focus when it comes to dentistry is on prevention and this is why we encourage children to visit us from an early age. By establishing a solid education of dental hygiene and ensuring that no problems go untreated, we can prevent problems occurring when adult teeth grow in. We will also keep an eye out for crowding and bite problems, meaning they can be referred to an orthodontist at the appropriate time should they need it. We are proud to offer ChildSmile at our practice.
